‘Oblivion’ I can escape from anything and feel emancipated from needless worries when I’m painting, and gradually the agony fades away. The genuine awakening to how pointless our suffering is at every moment is the blink of an eye moment of living in oblivion. Maybe we are limiting ourselves to useless fantasies in order to survive. True joy comes from overcoming.
